The company will be promoting the benefit of prevention, and discussing the common causes of wheel detachment from commercial vehicles – which, as well as damaging wheels and tyres, can lead to costly downtime and damage to reputation.
"Wheel loss prevention is the only option if fleet engineers are serious about reducing costs, avoiding prohibitions and maintaining a positive profile with consumers and business partners," says Bob Hope, chairman.
"The potential risks incurred by not fitting Disc-Lock Safety Wheel Nuts are simply far too great."
The Disc-Lock product is approved by all major axle and trailer manufacturers for spigot-mounted wheel fixings.
The product, says the company, is quick and easy to fit and costs the same as a standard wheel nut.
