The addition of Totalkare’s mobile brake tester marks an upgrade for the Devon-based transportation service. The brake tester is said to offer a high level of customisation to meet the requirements of the workshop. The standard model can test axle loads up to 16,000kg, with an upgraded version available for heavier loads up to 20,000kg.
A feature of the mobile brake tester is its wireless communication with a tablet unit. The tablet uses a virtual display to show all test readings, enabling brake tests to be conducted with ease from the driver’s seat in minutes.
In addition, the Totalkare T8DC cable-free mobile column lifts, which are free of interconnecting cables, are manoeuvred around the workshop and are ideal for a range of vehicles. Each column has a lifting capacity of 7,500 kg, and the system can be configured with up to eight columns to suit various lifting needs.
James Phare, area sales manager at Totalkare, said: “This equipment is designed to enhance safety and efficiency of their vehicles, ensuring their fleet remains in top condition.”
Stefan Maunder, of S&G Transport, said: “The Totalkare mobile brake tester and T8DC lifts have revolutionised our workshop operations. The ability to perform precise brake tests and effortlessly lift a variety of vehicles has significantly boosted our efficiency and safety standards. We are extremely pleased with the performance of this equipment.”
