Hennigan (pictured) brings more than 25 years of industry experience to Transport UK London Bus, having started his career at Oxford Bus as an apprentice mechanic in 1998. Following his qualification, Hennigan developed his skills within the business before being promoted into his first engineering management role in 2009 and a general manager role in 2013.

In 2014, Hennigan took the opportunity to become head of operations at Oxford Bus, where he gained experience managing operational teams and drivers. This experience and his leadership skills led to his promotion to operations director in 2018, and he was further promoted to service and delivery director in 2019, with responsibility for operations and engineering.

Hennigan has been instrumental in leading infrastructure change and fleet investment. His efforts have delivered more than 100 new zero-emission electric vehicles (EV) vehicles into service for the Oxford Bus company as part of the national ZEBRA 1 project.

Transport UK London Bus leads the way in electrification in London, providing cleaner and greener journeys for millions of customers. Hennigan’s experience building and maintaining EV infrastructure and fleet will support TUKLB’s continued growth in London and across the business’s rail replacement services.
