With effect from 1 September, the president of Volvo Construction Equipment, Olof Persson, will become president and chief executive officer of the Volvo Group. As of 1 May, Persson will become executive vice president and deputy CEO and work with Leif Johansson, before he retires.

Stagecoach has announced that Will Whitehorn will become a non-executive director of the Company from 1 May 2011.

The Federation of Petroleum Suppliers (FPS) has unveiled Mark Askew as its new chief executive. "The FPS has achieved considerable success and I'm delighted to be joining the organisation," comments Askew, who succeeds Susan Hancock.

Drive Software Solutions has appointed Andrew Burns as managing director. He takes over from Martin Drake and has been given the task of accelerating company growth.

Scott Michael is Citroën's new commercial vehicle operations manager, reporting to Martin Hamill, head of commercial vehicles and business sector. Chris Jones has been appointed to the position of commercial vehicle sales manager.

Former parts manager at Ross & Bonnyman Geoff Newton has joined Parts4taillifts.

Phil Fletcher is the new bus sales manager for the South of the country and East Anglia for Volvo Bus. A Volvo man for over almost 30 years, he has been looking after large fleet operators and small independent firms.

Colin Smit is the new operations manager at Juratek, joining from Tube Lines. Meanwhile, Barry Wilcox is the new US sales manager.
