Renault Trucks UK has a new vice president, Gino Costa, 55, who has worked in the commercial vehicle industry for 33 years, beginning with Iveco. He has held several international positions, working in China, Turkey, the Middle East and Eastern Europe, before joining Renault Trucks in 2004, as managing director of Renault Trucks Turkey. He succeeds Marc Martinez, who will be returning to Renault Trucks France as vice president of the French market company.

Robert J Christensen became chief financial officer and executive vice president at PACCAR on 1st January 2013.

Allison Transmission has appointed Jim Coleman as area manager, UK and Ireland. In his new role, Coleman will coordinate marketing, sales and service activities for Allison in the UK and Ireland, as well as the Russia CIS region.

Nexen Tyre Europe has appointed Joo Ho Song as its new president.

Ruth Waring, managing director at Labyrinth Logistics Consulting, has joined the board of CILT (The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport).

There are two new directors at Trakm8 in the UK. Andy Phillips is now accounts director with responsibilities for the application engineering activities, while Jon Law has been appointed as corporate sales director. In his new position, Laws will be responsible for generating new business, targeting the largest fleets in the UK.
