REGIONAL SERVICE MANAGER NORTH WEST10 May 2017

An opportunity has arisen within the Aftermarket division of the Alexander Dennis Limited for the position of Regional Service Manager (North West) performing a key role in the Service Department.

The position will be field based, and reports directly to the UK North Service Manager covering the North West area and working alongside a team of two other Regional Service Managers, with direct responsibility for managing a team of seven Field Service Engineers.

This is a key appointment within our Aftermarket organisation as the post holder directly influences customer perceptions of our products by managing customer service needs and addressing concerns.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing a team of Field Service Engineers within agreed budgetary constraints.

Applicants must possess:

  • Exceptional management skills
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with industry standard Microsoft software
  • The ability to work under pressure to demanding deadlines
  • Excellent customer service skills

Along with the above the successful candidate must have a vehicle engineering background and will need to be self motivated, innovative and resourceful in finding solutions to customer’s issues.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further their career within ADL in a key customer facing role.

It is a challenging position which requires energy, commitment and the willingness to travel with the flexibility to work outside normal hours as and when the circumstances dictate.
