The successful applicant(s) will undergo an initial 3 month training period, leading to fully qualified status within 6 months. Your training during the initial period will cover theory and practical assessments with a written examination. During this period you will shadow current staff in their daily work.
Your role will be the inspection of a variety of road tanker vehicles, and completing low and high pressure vessel examinations, Safe Loading Passes and Meter calibrations.
The successful applicants will need to be enthusiastic, flexible problem solvers, with great attention to detail. Ideally, you will have experience of working with road tankers and, demonstrating experience on vehicles in a mechanical or electrical field is essential. You must hold a full, clean driving licence and be willing to work away from home when required.
We offer a competitive wage structure starting at £26,000 per annum during your initial training period, rising to £30,000 once qualified.
