Accident repair business opens new site in Chesterfield02 August 2019

Commercial vehicle accident repair business C&C Vehicle Services has opened a new centre near Chesterfield, six months after opening another new site in Wolverhampton.

The 6,500sqft site in Clay Cross, Chesterfield is located close to junction 29 of the M1 and has undergone a £100,000 fit out to handle anything from minor repairs to major accident damage. A 16m spray booth can accommodate buses, coaches, trucks and trailers, although the company says it anticipates most demand will be from light commercial vehicle fleets.

C&C’s new Chesterfield base will be supported by the company’s larger facilities in Oldham and Wolverhampton. Workflow between the three sites is controlled centrally from head office, using a bodyshop management system and cloud-based computing.

The company says it plans to open a fourth location later this year – part of a strategy to build a national network of repair centres.
