Aldercote appoints APS to distribute new vehicle-mounted boom lifts05 August 2015

Manufacturer Aldercote has appointed APS as it UK distributor for a new range of vehicle-mounted boom lifts, which the distributor describes as a “ground-breaking product”.

"We invested heavily in the design engineering of our new boom lifts, so we naturally wanted the best possible sales and support partner to ensure their success," says David Dillon, director of Aldercote.

Steve Couling, managing director of IAPS Group, which owns APS, says: "These van-mounted booms break new ground in performance and payload on 3.5-tonne gvw vans, thanks to innovative engineering.

"Additionally, Aldercote's clever kit design enables us to quickly and efficiently mount these machines."

APS is investing in new workshop facilities and staff at group HQ in Telford, where it will fit Aldercote boom kits to vans, such as the Ford Transit and Iveco Daily.

APS will officially launch the new range in October, with a demonstrator fleet for customers and stock of the most popular van/platform combinations for immediate delivery.
