The series1200 booster is said to be ideal for starting diesel engines up to 345bhp using start assistance, or up to 173bhp without a battery.
For tougher tasks, Bahco’s series1700 booster will start a 474bhp diesel engine without a battery at 12V, or a diesel engine up to 1,480bhp without a battery at 24V.Immediate power, supplied through 50mm copper cables, provides 1700CA (cranking amps) at 12V and 900CA at 24V.
Both boosters are fitted with a 500A fuse, and each has a 1.85m-long cable for use either in workshops or at the roadside.
The boosters are housed in a one-piece moulded case, said to be virtually unbreakable and resistant to damage from all workshop materials, including brake fluid.
The company also offers a series3200 booster (pictured), delivering the power needed to start anything from a 12V vehicle, including hybrids, at up to 500cv (constant voltage) or 24V vehicles up to 1,500cv.
