Bedfords goes for Iveco EcoStralis fleet upgrade 04 August 2011

National logistics provider Bedfords Transport is buying seven new Iveco EcoStralis trucks to replace existing fleet vehicles.

The firm's new rigids have been purchased by to contribute to the growing fleet dedicated to deliveries for The Mail Newspapers

"With the addition of the new trucks, with environmentally friendly tear drop bodies, Bedfords continues to give the reliable cost effective service while, at the same time, reducing its carbon foot print," comments Steff Pfadenhauer, managing director at Bedfords.

"As a national network, we have trucks kept at depots across the country to ensure the deliveries for specific areas keep delivery time to a minimum. The new trucks will be based in Newcastle to support deliveries in the North East of England," he adds.
