Big Wincanton contract awarded to Vacu-Lug 28 March 2012

Vacu-Lug Tyres has secured a major contract to manage the tyres on Wincanton's truck fleet operated on behalf of Wavin, the UK water management, plumbing, heating and drainage systems supplier.

Covering some 20 trucks and 150 trailers, the contract is based on a Vacu-Lug Pay-As-You-Go policy, and includes all fleet inspections, tyre replacements and a nationwide assistance service.

The tyres specified by Wincanton are Pirelli and Yokohama for steering axles and Vacu-Lug Duramold for drive and trailer axles.

To ensure best performance and minimum cost, the policy will be managed using VFM, Vacu-Lug's bespoke online tyre fleet management system, with ATS Euromaster acting as Vacu-Lug's nationwide service partner.
