Black Country Mercedes-Benz dealership grows fast 21 October 2015

Mercedes-Benz dealer Midlands Truck & Van has extended workshop operating hours at its new £4 million dealership in Wolverhampton, which opened in the spring.

The facility is also set to become an approved tachograph centre from 1 November 2105, and Midlands Truck & Van has announced plans to extend its truck MOT testing service from one day to three days per week.

“[The Wolverhampton team] had become victims of their own success, as increases in vehicle sales and soaring demand for their aftersales support meant they had outgrown their previous base in Willenhall,” explains dealer Principal Jon Divers.

“Our new dealership is the perfect platform from which to provide the class-leading levels of service that Mercedes-Benz truck and van customers are entitled to expect.”

The Service department was initially open round-the-clock from 6am on Mondays until Saturday lunchtimes. No, six technicians are also working 12-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays.

“We’re committed to making our customers’ lives as easy as possible by providing them with a ‘one-stop shop’ service,” states after sales director Mark Elden.

Midlands Truck & Van has also appointed a new service manage in the shape of Nigel Simmons, who has 31 years’ service with Mercedes-Benz.

“I was looking for a fresh challenge and when this opportunity came along I jumped at it,” he says.

Midlands Truck & Van Wolverhampton is located alongside the A454 at Bentley Bridge.
