Brigade supports Brake road safety work for seventh year 01 August 2014

Now in its seventh year of partnering with road safety charity Brake, Brigade Electronics has now donated a total of £40,500 to support people bereaved and seriously injured throughout the UK.

The Kent-based developer of vehicle safety equipment casts itself as having pioneering the cause of reversing safety since 1976, when it introduced the first reversing alarm to Europe.

"Brake is delighted that Brigade Electronics has committed to supporting the charity for yet another year, and to raising awareness about road safety," comments Richard Coteau, corporate fundraiser at Brake.

"Brigade's support has been invaluable to the charity, helping us to coordinate our fleet safety initiatives throughout that time," he continues.

"I also applaud their dedication to supporting road crash victims, and passion for improving road safety."

Brake relies on sponsorship funding. The helpline took 1,839 calls in 2013, supporting 648 victims & professionals.
