Bunzl Catering Supplies extends Microlise package13 March 2020
Bunzl Catering Supplies has renewed its contract with Microlise, adding Fleet Performance, Remote Tacho Download, Journey Management and the Health and Safety module to its Proof of Delivery (POD) transport management solution.
Bunzl Catering Supplies delivers food packaging and hygiene products via a national network of seven branches and a national distribution centre in Tamworth.
“SmartPOD has considerably reduced administrative effort and has provided additional visibility of our operation, while allowing us to move from paper to digital data management in a way that is secure and fully compliant,” says Phil Haskew, the operator’s national transport manager.
“Extending the solution for us is a natural progression as we have identified further workflow and customer service improvements we can make by introducing fleet utilisation, planning, and health, safety and compliance management solutions.”
