Carrier Transicold promises cool service offering at CV Show17 March 2015

Carrier Transicold will be unveiling its EverCold and OneCall services to the UK market at next month’s Commercial Vehicle Show (14-16 April, NEC, Birmingham).

The two offers are among a range of services from Carrier Transicold, which it says are designed to improve customer efficiency and protect the cold chain.

The flexible EverCold maintenance package enables fleets to pay monthly, quarterly or annually, with fixed costs for the duration of the contract. It includes all maintenance and system leak checks, which will be carried out by engineers to the new EU517/2014 F-Gas regulation.

OneCall, meanwhile, is a 24/7 incident management service, giving customers access to over 600 service centres across Europe and Russia. Updates can be provided by phone, as well as by SMS, email or online notifications using Carrier's web tracker service.

"It's not uncommon for a reefer trailer to carry cargo worth many thousands of pounds – rising to millions with pharmaceuticals," says John Forster, sales director for Carrier Transicold UK. "Being able to provide outstanding aftersales support is of paramount importance to operators."

Also on show will be the Vector 1350, Carrier's latest addition to the Vector temperature-controlled range. The 1350 promises to maximise payload and reliability, while minimising fuel consumption. It carries almost one third less refrigerant than its predecessor, the Maxima.

Completing the line-up will be an 'innovation lab', which will demonstrate to visitors how Carrier is working to test new energy sources and refrigerants for future products.
