Cawleys extends digital investment with r2c Online06 September 2017

Waste management specialist Cawleys has signed a contract with r2c Online for a range of digital solutions for optimised fleet and workshop management.

Its move to online compliance management follows a period of rapid business growth for Cawleys, with heavy investment put into its four depots, 88-strong specialist vehicle fleet and in-house workshop.

Phil Gudgeon, director of waste collection and logistics at Cawleys, explained: “With r2c Online, everything is transparent. Our staff can work collaboratively with real-time changes and you know exactly where you are with compliance. What sets r2c apart is the quality of both the product and the service; the platform is easy to use and the service is both friendly and professional, so you know you’re in safe hands.”

r2c’s digital platform will allow it to scrap paper-based administration; the portfolio includes ‘i2i’ for automated SMR authorisation, ‘Inspect’ for optimised workshop data entry and ‘Exemplar’ for best practice compliance management.

Gudgeon continued: “We certainly won’t miss paper-based admin as we’re very much enjoying entering the world of digital compliance. Using the platform enables us to manage our time better, with proactive maintenance and efficient cost control.”
