Cenex low carbon vehicle event set to return to Millbrook next year04 December 2012

Cenex, the UK's centre of excellence for low carbon technologies, is to run the sixth annual Low Carbon Vehicle (LCV2013) event at Millbrook on 4 and 5 September 2013.

LCV2013 will again showcase UK technology providers, according to Cenex, and enable the industry to evaluate current and future technologies, discuss issues and test drive the latest low carbon vans, buses and trucks.

"The LCV2013 event promises to be the most significant yet... LCV offers exhibitors and guests the most comprehensive access to the latest technologies and initiatives," comments Robert Evans, CEO of Cenex.

"Millbrook is the ideal location to hold LCV2013 and LCV2014," he adds. "Its combination of permanent and temporary venues and track facilities, coupled with Millbrook's reputation makes it the logical choice."

"Millbrook is in the privileged position of testing and developing more low carbon vehicles than anywhere else in the UK," states Millbrook Proving Ground managing director Miguel Fragoso.

"We have the benefit of working with many vehicle manufacturers across a variety of markets, from motorcycles and passenger cars to buses and trucks. Inevitably this gives us an enviable insight into the exciting world of decarbonisation."
