Cheetah pounces on new MAN TGX PerformanceLine06 September 2017

Family-run Cheetah Couriers and Logistics has taken delivery of a new MAN TGX 26.640 PerformanceLine truck, after seeing the vehicle at the CV Show earlier this year.

The PerformanceLine spec includes twin bunks, air management kit, chrome roof lights, air horns, lower chrome lights and a leather interior.

The vehicle is powered by a 15.2-litre engine driving through the MAN Tipmatic 12-speed transmission, delivering 640bhp at 1,800rpm.

The new addition will operate from Cheetah’s Hemel Hempstead depot and director Lewis Pritchard says the new truck will be the showpiece of the firm’s all-MAN fleet.

“We saw this truck when we visited MAN at the Commercial Vehicle Show at the NEC… it was certainly a standout truck at the show,” says Lewis.

“We were convinced that it was worth the extra investment as the residuals at the back end are likely to be significant.”
