Citroën announces improvements to Berlingo Airdream line-up 26 October 2012

From November, Citroën's Berlingo Airdream e-HDi micro-hybrid vans will offer better fuel economy and CO2 emissions, according to the French manufacturer.

Citroën's new vans will see combined cycle fuel economy of up to 62.8mpg and CO2 emissions drop to 118g/km.

"The advanced Berlingo Airdream e-HDi micro-hybrid vans were already among the most fuel efficient and lowest CO2 emitting in their class," states Scott Michael, Citroën's head of commercial vehicles and business centre programme.

"With the latest improvements, these vans now go to the top of their class, thanks to fuel economy gains of up to 4.5% and CO2 emissions reductions of up to 5g/km."

In other news, also from November, the Berlingo Platform Cab model, designed for specialist conversions, gains extra equipment.

Standard equipment will include: electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors; multi-function remote control; central locking; and electric windows with one-touch operation.
