Tachograph compliance and the proposed Birmingham clean air zone (CAZ) topped the agenda at a regional meeting of the Confederation of Passenger Transport (CPT).

The event, on 19 January, was hosted by transport software and compliance firm TruTac at its Coventry office.

As CPT’s tachograph analysis partner, TruTac’s Lee Oliver gave the attendees an update on the current regulations and operator issues surrounding tachograph compliance and the benefits of its tacho analysis product, which CPT members can access at a discount.

Other presentations, by CPT personnel, included an explanation of the new Bus Services bill and information on the CAZ policy of Birmingham City Council.
