Continental goes the distance with tyre launch27 February 2014

Continental Tyres will use the forthcoming Commercial Vehicle Show to showcase the first two products from its goods vehicle range, the ContiEcoPlus and the Conti Hybrid.

ContiEcoPlus is a range of long-distance tyres, designed to deliver optimum fuel performance, high mileage and retreadability.

The ContiEcoPlus HT3 trailer tyre (pictured) has achieved the A label for fuel efficiency and gives a 26% improvement in rolling resistance over its predecessor. More sizes for steer and drive axles will be available from April.

The ContiHybrid, a new regional range, will be available later this year and is designed to bridge the gap between long-distance journeys and stop-start urban driving. It will be launched in 22.5 and 19.5 steer (HS3) versions, in 19.5 drive and trailer (HD3 and HT3), and in 17.5 steer and drive (LS3 and LD3).

Visitors to Continental's stand at the CV Show will have the chance to win a trip to St George's Park for a training session with FA coaches.

The CV Show takes place from 29 April to 1 May at the NEC, Birmingham.
