CV Show 2011 preparations go from strength to strength14 June 2010

Spurred on by the success of the CV Operator show and the commitment of manufacturers such as Mercedes-Benz, there is optimism in the commercial vehicle industry surrounding the CV Show 2011.

More than 400 exhibitors are expected to be present, representing every sector of the industry, according to Nick Jones, SOE chief executive and chairman of the CV Show LLP. They will provide an opportunity for market growth and lead the transport sector from a difficult, and, for some, damaging recession, he says.

"The ability to deliver consistent improvements in all aspects of road freight transport efficiency is vital in tough markets," comments Jones. "As operators remain cautious, suppliers must be competitive. Without doubt, past experience shows the Commercial Vehicle Show is ideally placed to provide excellent opportunities for sales and growth."

Dubbed 'the number one forum for the road freight and logistics industry', the CV Show will take place in two large halls of Birmingham's NEC from 12 to 14 April 2011.
