DAF’s Euro 6 XF takes pole position14 May 2014

DAF's Euro 6 XF has picked up a prestigious Truck of the Year prize in Poland, with the top-of-the-range model cited for its design, safety features and driver comfort.

The judges also praised the fuel efficiency of the DAF's 10.8-litre MX-11 and 12.9-litre MX-13 Paccar engines.

The Truck of the Year Award is organised by Polski Traker magazine and voted for by readers – almost two thirds of the 1,000 votes cast were for the DAF vehicle.

"This recognition is so valuable because it is given by the users themselves, being truck drivers," says Harrie Schippers, president of DAF Trucks. "I'm delighted that they recognised the Euro 6 XF as their preferred long-distance truck of choice."
