The latest deal was confirmed yesterday (30 September 2015) at the Coach & Bus Live show, at the NEC, Birmingham.
Included in the order are 10 factory-built Sprinter Traveliner 513 CDI minibuses, each with 17 seats, matching Dawsonrentals recent batches this year, all of whih are to the same specification.
Other vehicles in the latest order includ 10 516 CDI panel vans – which will be bodies as luxury coaches by Irish converter EVM – as well as Sprinter 513 CDI chassis cabs, which will be fitted with wheelchair-accessible bodies by Treka Bus, of Brighouse, West Yorkshire.
“We’ve been running Mercedes-Benz Sprinters for some time now, but they’ve played an increasingly important role over recent years as our business focus has shifted and we’ve expanded the fleet to include more van-based vehicles and minbuses,” comments Dawsonrentals managing director Paul Sainthouse. .
