The launch event, sponsored by DHL and Asda, was held on 13 January at the House of Commons for supporters of the programme and business leaders.
Launch host, Mary Macleod MP, spoke on the importance of diversity within transport and logistics, encouraging the nominations of talented women who, by showcasing their achievements, will inspire future talent.
Also encouraging nominations on the evening, James Hookham, FTA's managing director for policy and communications, commented on reinventing the perception of industry roles and highlighting the need for innovation, ideas and new technology.
These awards aim to showcase the achievements of the growing female workforce, encouraging future talent to explore the opportunities and benefits.

Winners will receive their awards at a ceremony on Wednesday 3 June 2015 at The Hilton Park Lane.
