Enterprise supports Burnt Tree with £20m of new HGVs 18 November 2014

Following August's acquisition of Burnt Tree by Enterprise Rent-A-Car earlier this year, the Shrewsbury-based truck rental firm has benefitted from a further multi-million pound investment into its Refrigerental temperature-controlled division.

A £20 million investment in new trucks sees the phased introduction of the first Euro 6 vehicles into the national Refrigerental rental and contract hire fleet at 7.5, 12, 15, 18 and 26 tonnes gvw.

With a £40 million truck investment programme so far, the Burnt Tree Refrigerental fleet now provides a range of truck types and models, both Euro 5 and Euro 6, designed for most temperature-controlled applications from chill to heavy chill and deep frozen.

"In a short period of time, Burnt Tree has created a sizeable new business operating through its 21-strong branch network," states Danny Glynn, managing director of Enterprise Flex-E-Rent.

"With the backing of the world's largest vehicle rental company in Enterprise, we will continue with the planned expansion of the Burnt Tree fleet well into 2015 and beyond," he adds.
