European Bus Forum 2015: registration now open 17 March 2015

Registration has opened today (17 March 2015) for the European Bus Forum conference and expo, due to be held at the University of Manchester on Thursday 2 July 2015.

This is the third in the series of annual events by Eurotransport, and is aimed at bringing together decision makers from bus operators, manufacturers and local authorities, as well as transport executives.

European Bus Forum 2015 is supported by Bus Users, Borough of Poole, Campaign for Better Transport, Greener Journeys, ITS, ITSO, LowCVP, neca, Passenger Focus, pteg, RATP dev, RTIG, Transport for London (TfL), Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) and the Young Bus Managers Forum.

Taking place in the university's Renold Building, this year's conference will offer workshops, panel discussions and keynote presentations on topics including: bus rapid transport (BRT); RTPI and new technologies; fuel; smart ticketing and payments; vehicle specification; and making bus the mode of choice.

Early confirmed speakers include: Bill Hiron, president, CPT; Stephen Joseph OBE, chief executive director, Campaign for Better Transport; Simon Reed, head of technical services, TfL; and Linda McCord, senior passenger manager, Passenger Focus.

Delegates who book conference places before Friday 10 April get an early-bird saving of £200 on the price – making a pass price of £349 + VAT.
