The vehicles were supplied on contract hire from Ryder and join three 7.5-tonners and 11 3.5-tonne fridge vans already in the Scottish operator's fleet.
"We previously owned our vehicles, but breakdowns, repairs and vehicle damage meant that we always seemed to have vehicles unavailable for work," says Mark Murphy, managing director.
After speaking to other firms in his sector, he decided last year to begin replacing the fleet with contract hire vehicles from Ryder.
"Being close to the Ryder depot in Newbridge enables our vehicles to be serviced overnight, with Ryder collecting and delivering them back ready for work the next morning," adds Murphy.
"Another benefit is that, with fixed costs, our budgeting is easier so we can spend more management time focusing on our core business."
