FTA everywoman Transport and Logistics 2015 awards now open 03 December 2014

The Freight Transport Association has started taking nominations for the FTA everywoman Transport and Logistics 2015 Awards.

The awards are aimed at celebrating the successes of the most inspirational women in transport and logistics – to highlight role models for female talent throughout the industry.

The awards began as a way of recognising the work and achievements of women in the sector, and FTA says it hopes they will continue to improve the image of the industry while also demonstrating that females are taken seriously within transport.

"The FTA is proud to be the Title partner of these prestigious awards," comments FTA chief executive Theo de Pencier.

"These Awards encourage forward-thinking companies that are committed to introducing diversity to the freight industry, and showcase how women can make a career in transport a successful and fulfilling one," he continues.

"The key for the logistics industry is to be able to access a wider talent pool to be able to meet its needs for good qualify staff in whichever role it needs to fill, and working with everywoman offers FTA opportunities to expand that work."

The FTA everywoman Awards are free to enter and nominations are open until 2 February 2015 in the following categories:
