GBA Services in £500,000 Krone trailers deal 24 August 2016

GBA Services has taken delivery of 22 new Krone trailers – 10 curtainside sliding roof euro liners, 10 dry liner box trailers and two twin-evaporator fridge trailers together worth £500,000 – to meet its European growth plans.

Peter Zak, operations director for the Lancashire-based company, says the new semi-trailers will be working predominantly from GBA sites in Europe, so have been specified to meet height requirements common to the UK and mainland Europe.

“Our vision for the future includes further growth in our time-critical, pharmaceutical and high-value logistics sectors, all of which will be supported by this investment,” states Zak.

GBA Services saw an 80% increase in business for high security TAPA-2-compliant loads last year and has opened two further operating centres in Birmingham and Lincolnshire.
