The new truck joins the expanding Stoke-on-Trent operator’s 15-strong fleet of older MAN vehicles.
Boss Marcus Hughes explains: “We have grown now to the extent we are running 15 trucks for our freight forwarding and logistics business and we had to look at the costs of the fleet.
“We have taken into consideration the running costs and fuel efficiency, and the requirements met by the Euro 6 engines.”
His driver, and nephew, requested the new MAN TGX: “When my nephew, Joshua Hughes, who is also a driver here, spotted the truck he knew it was exactly what he wanted and we took a three-year rental deal.
“I like the MAN brand, it is a good brand, and he wanted a.560, so it all worked out very well. There is no point in having vehicles that the drivers don’t like and all the drivers like the MANs.
“In fact, I have placed an order for four more TGX 26.480s,” he adds.
