Glassolutions manager sees clear benefits with FORS practitioner programme19 January 2016

A logistics manager at Glassolutions, part of Saint-Gobain, is the 400th practitioner to be certified under the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS).

Matt Eastwood says the course has helped his personal development and, he adds, given him “a better understanding of FORS, its objectives and how I could use this knowledge to improve the operational efficiency, road safety and fuel economy within Glassolutions”.

The practitioner workshops were established in 2012 and are designed to address organisational culture, as well as bridge the knowledge and skills gap for managers. The workshop programme was rolled out nationwide in September 2015.

The milestone was announced by Fleet Source, which delivers compliance auditing for FORS and is a primary training provider for Transport for London.
