Goodyear wins innovation prize for Intellimax technology21 January 2015

Tyre manufacturer Goodyear has picked up an innovation award for its Intellimax groove technology, used in the FuelMax S steer tyre range.

The Luxembourg Business Federation (FEDIL) judges cited the technology for the long-lasting performance it delivers throughout the tyre's life.

Intellimax is a 'hidden' tread pattern moulded within the tyre. As the initial tread wears, the new pattern gradually appears, ensuring that grip and low rolling resistance are maintained for longer.

Goodyear's innovation centre is located in Colmar-Berg, Luxembourg.

The award was presented on 10 December.
