The Birmingham-based company manufactures e-drive electric fans and battery thermal management technology, which, it says, has been designed with the environment in mind.
Interest in the firm’s technology has come from around the world, including Europe, North America and the Middle East, according to Stuart Hateley, managing director of Grayson Thermal Systems.
“The world is moving to low or zero emission vehicles and the bus and coach sector is no different, with the introduction of even cleaner CNG [compressed natural gas] engines, hydrogen fuel cells/hybrids and a move to full electric vehicles,” he observes.
“We are continually working with the manufacturers and operators to ensure we are delivering cooling, heating and air conditioning solutions that are kind to the environment but also deliver the performance required.”
For 2017, he says the company plans to bring a wave of new products to the market, including: a V3 cooling system controller; thermal management systems for hybrid and electrical vehicles; and new heat exchanger platforms.
He also says Grayson will be launching “an innovative battery thermal management system” in February, designed for electric vehicles.
