Hella levels with flat floor solution23 October 2019

Hella Gutmann Solutions (HGS) has released a new accessory for its CSC-Tool to ensure accurate calibration of vehicle camera and sensor systems.

The levelling plate system provides a fully flat surface, with four base plates and six access ramps which are placed on anti-slip mats. This provides the horizontal surface for correct positioning of the vehicle to guarantee accurate calibration.

HSG says the levelling plate system is ideal for use in workshops or by mobile technicians, who may travel to jobs where no suitable flat working area exists.

To set up the system, technicians use a self-levelling laser to accurately align all four plates in under 15 minutes.

Neil Hilton, HGS’s head of business development, says: “Recalibrating a vehicle is becoming common practice and we need to ensure that technicians have the best equipment that will allow them to undertake the work correctly.

“This is why we launched the CSC-Tool Mobile and now the levelling plate system, so all are able to recalibrate the vehicle’s systems, no matter their location or the space available to them.”
