Hendy achieves European top 20 ranking for HGV servicing17 December 2019
Hendy Group’s heavy truck division has become the first IVECO dealer in the UK to be included in the manufacturer’s top 20 service providers in Europe.
The Eastleigh, Hampshire-based group was placed 16th in the IVECO Service Challenge, a competition to assess the performance of workshops across Europe, assessing breakdown response, workshop repairs, parts availability and technical competence.
“We are thrilled to have become the first UK IVECO dealer to be ranked in Europe for the service challenge,” says Paul Gilbert, general manager for Hendy IVECO.
“Our ability to repair 91% of breakdowns in 24 hours and our high level of parts availability were key to this success.”
The dealership covers the south and south-west of England, with centres in Exeter, Southampton and Portsmouth.
