Hydrogen fuel cell vans – funding scheme open for bids23 May 2016

Fleets are being invited to bid for £2 million of funding to support the introduction of hydrogen fuel cell cars and vans.

OLEV, the Office for Low Emission Vehicles, is running the competition which is open to both public sector and private sector operators.

It will provide support for vehicles deployed up until 30 April 2017 and for the cost of operating them for up to three years. The deadline for bids is 4 July 2016.

Several events are taking place this month to build awareness, including fleet user workshops and ride & drives (with the Toyota Mirai, Hyundai ix35 FC and Renault Kangoo ZE H2 van).

OLEV will also be holding a workshop for applicants on 27 May in London. Email olev.enquiries@Olev.gsi.gov.uk for details, using the subject line FCEV Support Scheme Seminar Registration.
