Industry looks to 2014 Commercial Vehicle Show 28 June 2013

The doors might have closed just three months ago on the 2013 Commercial Vehicle Show, but already plans are being made for next year's major event.

Organisers of the CV Show, held at Birmingham's NEC, have revealed that numerous enquiries have already been received for the 2014 exhibition, with many new and existing companies already keen to confirm their places.

The final audited visitor figure for this year's show has also been revealed: 18,176 – an 11.6% increase on last year's figures.

"This is excellent news for exhibitors and visitors alike," says Nick Jones, outgoing chief executive of CV Show partner, IRTE Services.

"Every year we declare that next year's show will be bigger and better, and the past few years have shown this to be the case," he continues.

"The 2013 Show was my last in the role of chief executive and I am looking forward to attending next year's show in a slightly more relaxed capacity," adds Jones.

"And, once again, I am confident that it will be even bigger and better than this year's show."
