IRTE Fleet Engineer of the Year Awards to be presented by Beverley Bell 20 June 2016

Senior traffic commissioner Beverley Bell, who is now patron of the IRTE (Institute of Road Transport Engineers), will present the first IRTE Fleet Engineer of the Year 2016 Awards.

Bell, who is a forthright advocate of excellence across transport operations, will present the top prizes at the IRTE Conference dinner on 27 September 2016 at Eastwood Hall, in Nottinghamshire.

The IRTE Fleet Engineer of the Year Awards are free to enter, and were launched to recognise individuals who have demonstrated exceptional standards of professional competence.

Judging criteria also include entrants’ success in implementing innovations that improve operational performance, compliance and safety.

There are categories for the HGV and bus and coach sectors, and the IRTE Fleet Engineer of the Year 2016 Awards are open to all engineers and technicians working throughout road transport.

Shortlisted fleet engineers will be invited to attend the IRTE Conference dinner, hosted by former England world cup winning rugby star Ben Kay.
