IRTE to open debate on biofuels03 February 2010

IRTE is planning a conference at the Heritage Motor Centre in Gaydon, aimed at giving delegates a chance to find out more about biofuels and how they will affect vehicle operations.

IRTE head of membership and technical services Ian Chisholm believes such an event is the industry's best chance to get clarification on the wide range of issues around alternative fuels – from storage to vehicle warranties.
Because of the uncertainty about the use of biofuels, operators are worried about possible maintanance issues, and extra business costs," says Chisholm. "As all forms of transport are required to be greener, now is the best time to raise, and hopefully answer, some questions."
If you are interested in speaking at or attending the event, contact IRTE on 0207 630 1111 or email nicholas.edwards@soe.org.uk
