Iveco launches app to help drivers find truckstops 08 March 2013

Truck drivers around the UK will now be able to find their nearest services more easily, following the release of a free iPhone and Android app by Iveco.

The Iveco 'Hi-Stop' app has a map function that shows every truckstop service station within a 50-mile radius of the driver's location, and lists the key amenities available at each stop.

With an online directory, users can also choose to find truckstops by region, road or alphabetically.

Nigel Emms, director of press and PR at Iveco UK, says: "We're delighted to launch our app in conjunction with the UK debut of the eagerly anticipated new Stralis range. We hope as many drivers as possible will take advantage of this service."

The Stralis Hi-Way replaces the Stralis Active Space and Active Space Super³ models and has been designed for long-haul UK and international haulage, with one of the most modern premium cabs on the market.
