Iveco launches New Daily to European market09 June 2014

Iveco has released the third generation of its Daily light commercial vehicle, with promises of better fuel efficiency, handling, capacity and comfort.

The New Daily is available in chassis cab or van versions, with the latter benefiting from greater capacity thanks to a revised ratio between wheelbase, vehicle length and carrying length. A 10.8m3 version has been joined by 18 and 20m3 models.

The new front suspension, called Quad-Leaf, comes as standard on models up to 3.5 tonnes, giving increased load capacity on single-wheel versions, and more ground clearance and payload on axles for twin-wheel vehicles.

Rear suspension has been upgraded for single-wheel models, enabling the load platform to be decreased by 55mm.

The New Daily has 2.3 or-3 litre engine options (Euro 5 or 6), a choice of diesel or CNG (compressed natural gas) fuel type, and nine outputs ranging from 106 to 205bhp.

Driver benefits include an upgraded cab with better sound insulation and improved air conditioning system.
