Keltruck apprentices scoop top three Scania awards28 October 2013

Apprentices from Scania dealer Keltruck have taken the top three spots in Scania's annual apprentice award scheme.

The winner, from Keltruck Droitwich, was Matthew Godwin-Emerson. Second place went to Nottingham-based Richard Baker, with Tamworth-based Joe Sweet picking up third place.

Matthew and Richard are both in the final year of the four-year programme. Joe is in his second year.

The scheme combines on-the-job work with theory and practical elements and, on completion, each successful apprentice is accredited with a technical certificate and key skills, an IMI National Diploma and NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Maintenance and Repair of Vehicles.

Keltruck is the largest privately-owned Scania dealer in the UK and operates from 21 locations across the Midlands and South Wales.
