Keltruck depot lifts flexibility with mobile column lifts15 June 2018
Scania dealer Keltruck has installed a set of wireless column mobile lifts in its Workshop branch, to provide a total lifting capacity of 30 tonnes.
The set of ebright wireless lifts, supplied by Stertil Koni, comprises four mobile columns each providing a lifting capacity of 7.5 tonnes. Each column features the ebright Smart Control system, enabling them to be used individually, in pairs, or in any other configuration within the set.
Long-life deep cycle batteries power the lifts for at least a week on average before recharging is necessary; the batteries can be charged overnight via a 230V single phase supply.
Keltruck uses the vans to handle a range of vehicles, from small vans to tri-axle double-deck trailers.
“When investigating the suitability of using vehicle lifts to support our workshop activities, we received excellent feedback from other Keltruck branches using Stertil Koni equipment,” says Duncan Edwards, depot manager at Worksop.
