Knapen launches heavy-duty walking-floor trailer 19 February 2018

The K100-Waste is specially developed for heavier waste applications on metalled road surfaces.

It incorporates a reinforced subframe construction but remains fully self-supporting. As a result, the vehicle is said to combine maximum strength with maximum load-carrying capacity.

The trailer is also equipped with a reinforced steel top edge construction, including a strengthened bar construction. This helps avoid damage to the top edge when loading the trailer. Its rear doors are said to be the strongest available on the market, with double door locks and heavy-duty locking bars. The heavy-duty bumper and lighting panel are fitted as standard with protection grids for the lighting. The rear of the K100-Waste features a fully modular design, making repairs simple and reducing the cost.

The trailer is equipped with an 18-tonne kingpin as standard, zinc-galvanised chassis, and is available with automatic folding roof, Powersheet cover or cover sheet.
