LicenceCheck launches modular fleet management system14 September 2015

Licence monitoring company LicenceCheck has launched Davis, a cloud-based fleet management solution with a range of modules and plug-in services allowing operators to mix and match components to best suit their requirements.

LicenceCheck says Davis is particularly suited to operators with mixed fleets of company-owned vehicles as well as grey fleet – such as local authorities, utilities, construction firms and transport/delivery companies.

The launch system focuses on grey fleets and uses an autofill capability to populate vehicle details, road fund licence and MOT information automatically, using data from DVLA, DLVA and SMMT.

Davis already has a driving licence checking module and others to be launched in the coming months include telematics, foreign driving licence document recognition and expenses management.

The company says further modules such as tachograph, replacement vehicle hire, driver assessment and training will be launched early next year.

The hosted cloud-based system is accessible from any device with an internet connection and supports all popular browsers.

LicenceCheck’s managing director Richard Brown says the system offers a “powerful” reporting capability in a cost-effective solution.

“Being able to mix and match modules to suit individual companies is a real bonus, and we’re confident that this feature and its many other benefits make it an ideal solution for all-vehicle and grey fleets.”
