LWC says Isuzu rigid delivers on all counts for new depot08 February 2017
Drinks distribution business LWC Drinks has taken delivery of a new 11-tonne Isuzu rigid, describing it as “a particularly effective option” for deliveries in and around London.
Supplied by dealer Warrington Vehicle Centre, the Manchester-based operator’s latest addition is an Isuzu F110.210 curtainsider with tail-lift and is making deliveries from a new depot in Slough. The vehicle is LWC’s 13th Isuzu 11-tonner.
“We are keen advocates of the Isuzu brand generally, as they are ideally suited to our intensive distribution operation,” says LWC’s transport manager Dave Barnes.
“We get excellent payload from all our Isuzus and they are such reliable workhorses. With a 5-tonne payload capability, the 11-tonne Isuzu is a particularly effective option for the tough delivery schedules in the capital.”
Barnes also praises the service from Warrington Vehicle Centre: “They are totally reliable and organise everything for us from start to finish, including all the bodybuilder negotiations,” he says, describing their account management as “absolutely first class”.
