Lynton Refrigeration takes Carrier refrigeration performance prize 20 August 2010

Lynton Refrigeration, trading as Carrier Transicold Manchester, has been named Service Partner of the Year 2010 in Carrier's second annual PACE (Performance Assessment and Competitive Excellence) Awards.

Second and third places went to to Carrier Transicold North West and Carrier Transicold Southern respectively, which both achieved Premier Service Partner status

Scott Dargan, operations director at Carrier Transicold UK, says: "Overall performance has increased by 12% across the network."

And he adds: "The PACE scheme is an additional way to … ensure the Carrier operation is delivering to a consistently high standard. Customers rely on us to keep downtime to a minimum and, by closely monitoring breakdown response times, first time fix rates and carrying out proactive maintenance, we are able to make a tangible difference."

This year's rewards total more than a quarter of a million pounds, which Dargan says gives "our partners the chance to invest back into their business and strengthen their own competitive edge.
