MAC’s to debut with Scania and DAF trucks at Scotplant 201618 February 2016

Mac’s Truck Sales is to make its Scottish debut at Scotplant 2016 in April with a five-truck display – including a flagship Scania R510 equipped with a front-mounted Fassi F820 RA.2.26 82-tonne crane for heavy-duty plant and equipment.

The firm says this special tractor unit highlights the scope of its design and engineering facility for specialised vehicles.

Mac’s will also be displaying a DAF L220 18 tonne rigid chassis specified with a VDL skip loader body, with the new VDL sheeting system.

Alongside will be another DAF, a 32 tonne 8x4 rigid chassis with a VDL hook lifter body and sheeting system.

Completing the line-up will be two more Scania rigid trucks: a P410 8x4 with Mac’s Trucks cheese wedge body and a cab mounted Fassi crane; and a 32 tonne 8x4 with this Mac’s beavertail body for heavy plant.
